Spring Bathing Suit Catalog

I thought March is supposed to be Springtime?!?!? I am all ready in my bathing suit but the weather is still cold! I hope somebody has a pool that I can mooch off of this summer...

My Baptism Day

Last Saturday I was baptised at All Saints Lutheran Church in Orland Park, where Mom and Dad got married. Uncle Scott and Aunt Joclyn are my Godparents. I am sure they will teach me all sorts of important things while I am growing up! Hahaha Mom and Dad may or may not be happy with some of the things they are sure to teach me!

Uncle Brian flew in from New Mexico to be at my christening. Thanks Uncle Brian! You can see my dress below... Mommy and all of her cousins and brothers wore this when they were baptised. My Great Grandma O'Shea knitted it thirty years ago.

The picture below is of me trying on Aunt Joclyn's christening gown... Gramma Debi made this dress for her 25 years ago. Good thing I didn't spit up on it... it's an antique!

Just a few more days...

I can't wait to meet my Aunt Joclyn and my Grandpa Joe. They are coming out for my baptism this weekend and it will be the first time that they see me. It's been 24 years since Grandpa held a baby... I hope he didn't forget how!

Top O' the Mornin'!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Take a look at Alexis' outfit for today... her sleeper came directly from Ireland, brought back by our Granny. And the hat came from Las Vegas, from Aunt Dee. She is such a cute little Irish girl!

This was my first week back to work, so Alexis has been going to stay with Beth, her new babysitter. The picture below is Alexis at the sitter's house with the other 2 little girls, Ashley and Carly. So far she is doing very well, and the babysitter sends pictures to Cort and me at work during the day, and prints off pictures to send home with us. She has made it a lot easier for us to leave our baby girl every day!

The Hand Eater

Well, Alexis has a new goal in life... to see how much of her hand she can fit in her mouth. She practices about 5 or 6 hours a day, and is getting to be really good at it! Good thing she doesn't have teeth or she wouldn't have any fingers left.

New House for Max

Alexis got a new high chair this week, and Max got to use the box as his new playhouse! Stormy is next to him in her basket. The cats have been great with Alexis... they like to sit right next to her on our laps and share body heat.
