A lot of people have told us that Alexis and Dave look very similar. Here is a picture that we took of Alexis as a baby, and the recent photo that we just posted of Dave.

Father's Day Interview 2009

I did a Mother's Day interview with Alexis, so I decided that we will do a quick Father's Day interview today while Cort is still asleep! Take a look...

I like it when Daddy "goes camping with me and let's me help him take the garbage cans in and out."

Daddy is as handsome as "a boy."

Daddy is special because "he likes to play with me."

I want to tell Daddy "about his present!"

Daddy is best at "opening presents."

I make Daddy smile by "smiling at him and he smiles at me."

What makes Daddy sad? "When I play in the car and take too long."

How tall is Daddy? "I think he is maybe THAT tall (standing on the couch with arms stretched up)."

What does Daddy do when we aren't home? "Goes to the store that is far away."

What is Daddy's job? "Working with stuff and highlighting on papers." (Hmmm sounds accurate)

What is Daddy's favorite food? "Broccoli" (HA! She has a good sense of humor... she later decided it was actually bacon).

How do you know that Daddy loves you? "Because I am happy."

What is something Daddy always says to you? "I love to go camping."

What does Daddy do to make you laugh? "He is silly to me."

What was Daddy like as a kid? "I think he was a boy." (HAHAHA I hope so...)

Do you think Daddy is smart? "Ummmm.... Yes."

What does Daddy smell like? "He smells like... well... a foot."

What does Daddy look like in the morning? "He looks like a foot."

What is Daddy's favorite place to go? "The Farmer's Market."

What is Daddy NOT good at? "He is not good at doing that bug thing because he touched it and moved it." (This is referring to the ant trap that we have told Alexis nobody should EVER touch.)

Dave likes to fall asleep sometimes while drinking his bottle, and clutching his pacifier string for dear life!

This is my last week off before I have to go back to work... very sad about that... and we have been busy lately! Here are some pictures of what we have been up to for the last two weeks.

McDonald's Playland... this is about ten seconds before Alexis realized that she did not know the way out of the tube maze, and threw herself into a huge embarrassing sobbing fit that the entire restaurant witnessed... I was about ten seconds away from having to climb up there myself when another little girl saved her life.

Dave and his girlfriend, Marlee... she is almost 3 weeks old and I just can't believe that Dave was ever that small! He felt like he weighed a hundred pounds after holding her!
