Dave's 6 Month Checkup

Dave had his 6 month checkup today. It appears that he does in fact have an O'Shea head, or close to it. He is in the 87th percentile for head size. He weighed 18 lbs 2oz and was 26 3/4 inches tall. He was 57th percentile for both weight and height. So in other words, Dave is top heavy! Here is a picture of that big adorable head of his...

Dave is getting VERY interested in everything around him. He has already broken a fridge magnet by swiping it off the fridge as he was carried past. He can inch around in a circle, and holds himself up really well when he lays on his tummy. He is trying so hard to get at the little lights on the laptop. He loves to yell "AUUGHHHH!!" really loud and then will wait for someone to do it back at him. The best part about our little guy is that he is so bright eyed and is always smiling... he is truly a light in our lives!

Rock a "My" Baby

Alexis is such a great big sister! She wanted to hold Dave and sing Rock a "My" Baby to him. Dave is happy as can be to sit on her lap. She is his favorite person!

Zoo Outing 2009

Today was our annual corporate zoo outing through my company. I think it was the greatest zoo weather ever... nice and cool and not too sunny. We had a great time! Cort's knee was feeling better so he managed to come with and make it through the day.

Grandpa O'Shea Golf Outing 2009

This weekend was the 2009 Grandpa O'Shea Memorial Golf Outing. Uncle Dan and Timmy were the big winners...

First day of preschool!

Today was Alexis' first day of preschool! She did a really good job, but then again, I was with her the entire time. Thursday will be her first class all by herself. We are expecting some drama that day!

Here is a picture of Alexis wearing her parachute... I mean, her backpack. All of the kids have gigantic backpacks, and all they carry in there is a crayon or something... hilarious!

Eating and Big Sister

Dave is what you might call a voracious eater. He pretty much likes anything you give to him. Here he is trying out his first biter biscuit. Like everything else, it was a big hit. But he also loves his hand so much that he had a hard time letting go of his hand to focus on the biscuit.

Dave is soooo lucky that Alexis is such a great big sister! She always wants to help him with everything, and is always making sure he is happy. Here she is helping him find toys on his exersaucer...
