Getting ready for Halloween...

This afternoon we carved our pumpkins for Halloween. Alexis was very good at cleaning the guts out... one seed at a time. She was on track for the longest pumpkin cleaning experience of all time. And after her little pumpkin was empty, she filled it back up!

Pumpkin Head!!

Our pumpkin family... can you guess who carved each one?

Alexis tried on one of her costumes... lucky girl, she actually has 4 to pick from! It's good to have Grandparents that love her so much and spoil her so much! :)

This weekend was Homecoming at U of I, so Cort and I went down to Champaign for the weekend and tailgated with a bunch of friends. Good times! For 24 hours we managed to forget that we have jobs, and pretended like we were still undergrads. Alexis stayed with Gramma and Grampa and helped Uncle Scott move into his new apartment. This week we are going to visit Gramma Debi and Grampa Joe in Sedona. Alexis is very excited to fly on a plane. Let's hope that she is so excited that she falls asleep for the majority of the flight! Check back for pictures next weekend!

YAY! I'm on your blog. That might be the first time ever! I love the costume and the pumpkins. One seed at a time is the best way to do it ;)
